The Influence of Ni on the NMR-properties of Bi in Liquid Bi-Ni Alloys

W e present detai led experimental results concerning the temperature and concentration dependence of the 2 0 9 B i K n i g h t shift and the N M R l inewidth in l iquid B i N i . The measurements are carried out in a n external magnetic field of about 39 K G over the concentration range (0—35) a t . % N i a t temperatures f rom 400 K to 1300 K . According to our experimental results there are no localized magnetic moments in the l iquid B i N i system. The experimental results are discussed in the f ramework of theories on metallic alloys.
